What is Pedl Maps?
Pedl Maps helps you ride bike share: it shows live bike and dock availability near you and plans door-to-door trips with spoken turn-by-turn navigation.
The app isn't showing my location
Pedl Maps needs location permission to show nearby stations and guide you. If the map isn't centered on you, make sure location is enabled in your device Settings under Pedl, then tap the locate button on the map.
Why does it need location in the background?
Only during voice navigation. So it can keep giving turn-by-turn directions with your screen off while you ride, the app accesses location in the background until you end the trip. You can revoke this anytime in Settings.
Are the fares exact?
No — ride costs shown in the app are estimates to help you compare options. Actual charges depend on your membership, ride length, taxes, and the operator's current pricing.
